  1. “An Indiana congressional candidate changed his voter registration last year to an address local officials say isn’t a residence—a large metal-sided garage that he says has a two-bedroom bachelor pad inside.

“Election experts say the residence changes by Sodrel and another top Republican contender for the seat don’t appear illegal, given that they aren’t required to live in the district to run for office.”

So, you don’t have to live where you want to run for office? Ok… But, isn’t it still illegal to vote where you don’t live? Or, to even just register to vote where you don’t live? What do “election experts” say about that?

    1. It is and they generally track those people down. Like Mark Meadows.

“ Former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows was simultaneously registered to vote in three states ― North Carolina, Virginia, and South Carolina, according to records obtained by The Washington Post’s Fact Checker.

Like his former boss, Meadows constantly talked up “election integrity” and the threat of purported voter fraud during the 2020 presidential campaign and after Trump’s defeat. There has been no significant evidence of either, despite Trump’s continued insistence that he won.”
