The seven-day moving average of positive cases in Indiana dropped from 991 on Saturday to 981 on Sunday—the lowest mark in that category this month.
The state reported five new deaths from COVID-19, increasing the cumulative total to 12,870.
Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 increased from 861 on Saturday to 893 on Sunday. Hospitalizations have risen 28.1% since April 1. The all-time high mark was 3,460, set on Nov. 30.
The health department reported the testing of 3,615 new individuals.
The state said more than 1.73 million Hoosiers had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Monday at 5 a.m. More than 2.28 million had received the first dose of a two-dose vaccination.
