Cases have topped 1,000 in nine of the past 12 daily reports.
The seven-day moving average of positive cases in Indiana was 1,135 on Saturday, up from 1,101 on Friday and from 875 two weeks ago.
Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 dropped from 870 on Friday to 825 on Saturday. The all-time high mark was 3,460, set on Nov. 30.
The state reported 10 new deaths from COVID-19, raising the cumulative total to 12,743.
The health department reported the testing of 5,699 new individuals.
The state said more than 1.4 million Hoosiers had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Sunday at 5 a.m. More than 1.97 million had received the first dose of a two-dose vaccination.
