The seven-day moving average of positive cases in Indiana dropped from 1,043 on Friday to 1,024 on Saturday—down from 1,057 a month ago.
The state reported 12 new deaths from COVID-19, raising the cumulative total to 13,003.
Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 increased from 917 on Friday to 924 on Saturday—up from 792 a month ago. The all-time high mark was 3,460, set on Nov. 30.
The health department reported the testing of 5,452 new individuals.
The state said more than 2.13 million Hoosiers had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Sunday at 5 a.m. More than 2.43 million had received the first dose of a two-dose vaccination.
