The state has seen 84 new deaths from the virus over the past week, and an average of 12 deaths per day over the past two weeks.
The state on Saturday also reported 1,010 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the cumulative total to 85,317.
The department reported the testing of 11,505 new individuals, the seventh time in 10 days that daily testing has exceeded 10,000 individuals.
The state’s 7-day testing-positivity rate dipped to 7.7% on Saturday and the overall testing-positivity rate stayed at 8.8%.
