The state said more than 507,000 Hoosiers had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Thursday at 5 a.m. More than 941,000 had received the first dose of a vaccination.
The state also reported 26 new deaths due to the coronavirus. Reported deaths due to COVID-19 have exceeded single digits in 136 of the past 137 days.
The department said 6,770 new individuals were tested Wednesday.
Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 rose slightly, from 886 on Tuesday to 889 on Wednesday. The high mark was 3,460, set on Nov. 30.
