The state has reported an increase in the cumulative case count of 6,198 over the past week, or an average of 885.4 per day. That’s up from 5,600 the previous week, an average of 800 per day.
The department reported the testing of 11,705 more unique individuals, bringing the cumulative total to 1,292,615. The cumulative positivity rate for unique individuals remained at 8.6%.
