The department reported the testing of 9,643 more unique individuals. The cumulative positivity rate for unique individuals remained at 8.6% and the seven-day positivity rate for unique individuals fell to at 6.6%.
U.S. COVID-19 cases have now moved past the 7 million mark, according to Johns Hopkins University.
