The seven-day moving average of positive cases in Indiana ticked down from 1,124 on Tuesday to 1,106 on Wednesday—up from 985 on April 1.
The state reported six new deaths from COVID-19, raising the cumulative total to 12,966.
Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 dropped from 1,019 on Tuesday to 991 on Wednesday. The all-time high mark was 3,460, set on Nov. 30.
The health department reported the testing of 6,262 new individuals.
The state said more than 2 million Hoosiers had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Thursday at 5 a.m. More than 2.4 million had received the first dose of a two-dose vaccination.
