Subscribe NowThe state health department reported no new deaths from COVID-19 on Monday, but the cumulative death tally rose by nine over the weekend, to 13,496. The state has averaged two deaths per day from COVID over the past seven days.
Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 dipped from 400 on Saturday to 399 on Sunday. Hospitalizations are down from a recent high of 1,019 on May 4. The pandemic-high mark was 3,460, set on Nov. 30.
The state said more than 2.87 million Hoosiers have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. More than 2.84 million had received the first dose of a two-dose vaccination.
Following are the latest COVID-19 numbers from the Indiana State Department of Health. The department updates its data daily based on information received through 11:59 p.m. the previous day. The department no longer issues reports on Saturday and Sunday.
