The report consisted of cases reported to the health department on Christmas Day.
The department also reported 30 more deaths, marking the 26th consecutive day that deaths have exceeded 25 in the daily report.
Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 dropped to 2,808 on Christmas Day, down from 2,918 on Christmas Eve. The high mark was 3,460 set on Nov. 30.
COVID-19 patients occupy 31.6% of the state’s intensive care beds and non-COVID patients are taking up 45.5%, leaving 22.8% available.
The department said 10,791 new individuals had been tested. Testing in that category has exceeded 10,000 for 61 straight days.
The 7-day positivity rate for unique individuals was 23.7%.
