The seven-day moving average of positive cases in Indiana was 999 on Monday, up from 775 two weeks ago.
The state reported 11 new deaths from COVID-19 on Tuesday, raising the cumulative total to 12,669.
The health department reported the testing of 2,628 new individuals.
Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 increased from 704 on Sunday to 706 on Monday. The high mark was 3,460, set on Nov. 30.
The state said more than 1.26 million Hoosiers had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Tuesday at 5 a.m. More than 1.79 million had received the first dose of a two-dose vaccination.
