The state reported 11 new deaths due to the coronavirus. Reported deaths due to COVID-19 have exceeded single digits in 145 of the past 147 days.
The department said 5,455 new individuals were tested.
Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 decreased from 663 on Friday to 656 on Saturday, the lowest number since July 6. The high mark was 3,460, set on Nov. 30.
The state said more than 696,000 Hoosiers had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Sunday at 5 a.m. More than 1.1 million had received the first dose of a vaccination.
