The seven-day moving average of positive cases in Indiana rose from 1,134 on Saturday to 1,151 on Sunday—up from 985 on April 1.
The state reported one new death from COVID-19, raising the cumulative total to 12,938.
Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 jumped from to 863 on Saturday to 931 on Sunday. Hospitalizations are up 33% since April 1. The all-time high mark was 3,460, set on Nov. 30.
The health department reported the testing of 3,730 new individuals.
The state said more than 1.94 million Hoosiers had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Monday at 5 a.m. More than 2.36 million had received the first dose of a two-dose vaccination.
