The department typically reports lower numbers of cases and testing on Mondays as reporting slows over the weekend.
The department on Monday reported the testing of 6,470 more individuals, the lowest number since July 13.
Marion County reported an increase of 153 cases, the 18th straight day that cases in the county have risen by more than 100. The county’s 7-day testing-positivity rate rose to 9%, above the state’s 7-day rate of 7.5%
