The state also reported 15 new deaths due to the coronavirus, moving the cumulative total to 12,510.
The department said 6,274 new individuals were tested.
Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 dipped from 612 on Wednesday to 595 on Thursday. The high mark was 3,460, set on Nov. 30.
The state said more than 915,000 Hoosiers had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Friday at 5 a.m. More than 1.38 million had received the first dose of a two-dose vaccination.
