The department also reported 80 more deaths, the highest number since Jan. 19. Deaths due to COVID-19 have exceeded single digits for 107 straight days.
The state said 5,646 new individuals were tested Monday in Indiana, the lowest number since Dec. 28.
Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 dropped from 2,045 on Sunday to 1976 on Monday. The high mark was 3,460, set on Nov. 30.
The state said more than 106,000 Hoosiers have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
