The last time the daily update had fewer cases was July 7, when 314 cases were reported
In the nine-county Indianapolis area, the only counties to report more than 10 new cases were Marion (57) and Hamilton (23).
The state has reported fewer than 1,000 new cases for the 23 straight days.
The department also reported five new deaths from COVID-19, raising the cumulative death tally to 13,203.
The state said more than 2,51 million Hoosiers have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. More than 2.64 million had received the first dose of a two-dose vaccination.
Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 decreased from 746 on Friday to 695 on Saturday. They are down from 1,019 on May 4. The all-time high mark was 3,460, set on Nov. 30.
