The Indiana State Department of Health on Wednesday reported 282 new COVID-19 cases, the fewest number of cases in almost a year. The last time the daily report had fewer cases was June 24, when 281 cases were reported.

The state has reported fewer than 1,000 new cases for 25 straight daily reports.

The department also reported 11 new deaths from COVID-19, raising the cumulative death tally to 13,220.

  1. We are reaching the low double digits for the positivity rate. 12.57% of those in today’s tests were positive for Covid. That’s a good sign. We will hopefully hit single digits these first two weeks of June.
