The previous low in the daily report was one death, last reported on March 31. Reported deaths are typically lower in Sunday’s reports.
The state reported 952 new cases of COVID-19, snapping a four-day streak in which cases topped 1,000.
The seven-day moving average of positive cases in Indiana was 1,013 on Saturday, up from 775 two weeks ago.
The health department reported the testing of 4,618 new individuals.
Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 increased from 681 on Friday to 693 on Saturday. The high mark was 3,460, set on Nov. 30.
The state said more than 1.24 million Hoosiers had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Sunday at 5 a.m. More than 1.75 million had received the first dose of a two-dose vaccination.
