Daily cases have fallen below 1,000 for 17 of the past 18 days.
The state also reported eight new deaths due to the coronavirus. The department said 2,961 new individuals were tested.
Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 rose from 604 on Saturday to 610 on Sunday. The high mark was 3,460, set on Nov. 30.
The state said more than 837,000 Hoosiers had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Monday at 5 a.m. More than 1.27 million had received the first dose of a two-dose vaccination.
