The seven-day moving average of positive cases in Indiana dropped from 1,226 on Wednesday to 1,193 on Thursday, but was up from 985 on April 1.
The state reported five new deaths from COVID-19, increasing the cumulative total to 12,848.
Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 ticked down from 848 on Wednesday to 846 on Thursday. The all-time high mark was 3,460, set on Nov. 30.
The health department reported the testing of 5,664 new individuals.
The state said more than 1.68 million Hoosiers had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Friday at 5 a.m. More than 2.25 million had received the first dose of a two-dose vaccination.
