The seven-day moving average of positive cases in Indiana rose from 1,089 on Thursday to 1,099 on Friday—up from 985 on April 1.
The state reported five new deaths from COVID-19, raising the cumulative total to 12,926.
Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 dipped from 920 on Thursday to 908 on Friday. Hospitalizations are up 30.3% since April 1. The all-time high mark was 3,460, set on Nov. 30.
The health department reported the testing of 6,144 new individuals.
The state said more than 1.91 million Hoosiers had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Saturday at 5 a.m. More than 2.35 million had received the first dose of a two-dose vaccination.
