In the not too distant future, when there are only five college conferences and most of the colleges and universities are shut out from being competitive, attendance is down at second tier schools in D1, and just nobody cares anymore about rooting for the hired hands playing sports for their schools, people may come to regret making college sports just another division of professional sports.
