Referencing your article regarding a solar farm proposed for Zionsville [Surrounded by solar, May 21], as someone who installed rooftop solar in 2019, I firsthand am receiving the benefits of generating my own power, and with net metering, being part of the solution of the grid and not the problem.
Net metering is crucial. I share much of my extra power via the grid to my neighbors every day! Our Legislature needs to make net metering for rooftop solar investments work for us all.
