While I agree that Indiana Sports Corp. is responsible for most of the successes of Indianapolis as a sports venue, I feel that in the case of the College Football Playoff National Championship success, credit needs to be recognized where it is due [“Editorial: City shines as championship host,” Jan. 14].
Three years ago, Susan Baughman left Indiana Sports Corp. after 22 years to be the president of the 2022 Indy College Football Playoff Inc. and Melissa Caito left ISC to raise the funds for not only the football championship, but also the future basketball events in Indianapolis.
Congratulations to these two ladies who took a chance and made it all work.
