The state also reported 12 new deaths due to the coronavirus. The department said 3,125 new individuals were tested.
Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 rose from 610 on Sunday to 619 on Monday. The high mark was 3,460, set on Nov. 30.
The state did not have updated vaccination numbers available Tuesday at midday. It said more than 837,000 Hoosiers had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Monday at 5 a.m. More than 1.27 million had received the first dose of a two-dose vaccination.
