Indiana Republicans are still trying to shove the idea of trickle down economics to Hoosiers?!? They is only one thing that trickles downhill, and you can ask any livestock farmer what that is.
The last 40 years have shown that all this does is concentrate wealth in the upper income levels, and leaves everybody else poor with crumbling infrastructure. I can appreciate that there is some concern about big surpluses, but if they really want to do ALL Hoosiers a favor, and can’t find worthwhile projects at the state level, then increase distributions to local governments on a per-capita basis. I know several cites that would love to do basic things, like increase funding for police, or improve local infrastructure.
Agree!! There are multiple units in state government that could provide vastly improved customer service with increased funding instead of working on a shoe string year after year.
Putting tax caps in the Indiana Constitution remains among the dumbest things Indiana Republicans have done with their super majority … which is saying something.
