Good riddance. Was never very well liked in the Notre Dame community thanks to his persona. He also could never win the big ones. He will not be that successful in the SEC. While he won’t have stringent (or any) academic requirements for players at LSU, he doesn’t know all the cheating tricks that they know down south.

Not a problem that he is leaving. It is the way. His players had to find out via the internet. No matter what happens with teams above them they will not make it to the playoffs because of use of the rules about coaches leaving. The jerk could have waited a week or so. Good riddance.
