This opinion piece touts school choice as good without providing any facts about the outcomes. I want to know why school choice is a good thing other than the simplistic assertion that “choice is good” and “more choice is better.” Does school choice create better outcomes in the aggregate for the state? Do students with school choice benefit without adversely impacting other schools and students? Being a cheerleader for a cause is not the same as leading demonstrably positive change for all citizens. Maybe there is a positive change, but this piece provides no evidence and as such is completely unpersuasive.
