  1. When for about the same price (or within a dollar or two) I can get a more carry out meal at a sit-down restaurant that is higher quality, I’m going to forgo McDonalds for the better carryout. I’ll wager it is competition from non fast food restaurants that is impacting McDonalds more than people not eating out.

    1. Just to get a meal at mcdonalds for 1 person is close to 10 bucks. Like you said you can get better food for around the same cost elsewhere. Mcdonalds used to be the spot to go spend 1-5 bucks per person. Their quality hasn’t gotten any better.
