  1. Um, they created a platform for their customers. If people don’t want to see it, go to eBay on your own. Sort of like a car dealership. The Toyota dealership only sells new Toyotas. They can’t sell new Hondas. Unfair advantage that someone comes to their lot and they only show them New Toyotas? More stupidity in the world.

“European Union antitrust enforcers accused Meta of illegally shutting out competition by tying Marketplace to its social network and automatically exposing Facebook users to Marketplace whether or not they wanted it. They also accused Meta of gaining an unfair advantage through ad-related data.”

    1. I can see the problem. You create a social media platform, tack on a sales platform, and then shove the market place ads in my face.

It sounds like this is Meta’s answer to the problem and not the EU Anti-trust people. I can see how meta is shouting “look what I did, you can post ebay ads now”, when the real problem is meta is shoving Market[lace ads in your face.
