Seattle-based Milliman Inc. announced Monday it would invest $6 million to lease and furnish more than 50,000 square feet in Market Tower, 10 W. Market St.
The company said in a news release that the expansion will enable it to better meet the needs of its health care-related client base and offer more actuarial, business consulting and technology solutions to the pharmaceutical and insurance markets. It will hire actuarial, pharmaceutical and health care policy professionals.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered Milliman $1.9 million in conditional tax credits and up to $100,000 in training grants if it meets its job-creation goals.
Founded in 1947, Milliman is a risk management, benefits and technology firm with 163 employees currently in Indiana and more than 4,000 workers worldwide.
The new expansion marks the company’s third significant growth spurt in Indianapolis since 2012.

It’s good to have new employees downtown. Need more to fill up all the vacant office space. Hopefully a tenant will move into Anthem’s space on the Circle. A little depressing to see all the vacant office and retail space.
Are they adding floors???
