That’s the ninth straight day new cases have been less than 1,000.
The total number of positive COVID-19 cases in the state has increased to 735,462, and the state has reported 13,063 deaths.
Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 dropped slightly, to 810, on Saturday. The all-time high mark was 3,460, set on Nov. 30.
The health department reported the testing of 4,301 new individuals.
The state said nearly 2.3 million Hoosiers had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. More than 2.5 million had received the first dose of a two-dose vaccination.
