  1. Why did legislators like Freeman not give Indianapolis any credit for funding they are already appropriating to roads over and above what is provided by the state of Indiana via gas taxes?

    My understanding is that’s already a nine figure amount. I’d love to be corrected if wrong.

  2. Freeman can kick and scream all he wants but those projects weren’t paid for with state gas tax dollars to begin with. Those were grant dollars that are distributed on a discretionary basis to regions across the country.
