  1. A perfect example of how blue states routinely impose their ideological preferences on localities – that is, preempt their ability to set their own rules. Blue states don’t give red counties or towns the right to set policies that conflict with progressive state policies. This shows that the complaints about red state preemption of localities are at their core bogus. Without a doubt if Democrats ran Indiana, they would impose their preferences on localities.
