  1. Seems to have more or less the same capacity as Lucas Oil Stadium.

Any word on how many suites this stadium will have? If the number is high, I expect Jacksonville to become a regular Super Bowl rotation city. But I don’t know if the market can support too many suites during the normal NFL season, so who knows.

  2. Beautiful design and will look good in the future. Too bad Lucas Oil Stadium couldn’t look this modern. Hopefully the city gets the MLS stadium built and build something eye catching and modern. Enough with the old Hoosier Field House theme and let’s see what a modern Indy of the future looks like for Pete’s sake and mine. Geez Louise….

  3. Who wants to go to a Final Four in Jacksonville? Indianapolis has the best set-up in the nation for this event. Perhaps keeping the Diamond Chain site available for ten years will allow for a futuristic stadium. Do not forget Lucas is approaching 20-years old.

    1. I think you are going to see teams remodel stadiums like what the Pacers did rather than build completely brand new stadiums unless the team moves. Lucas Oil does need a lot of updating and is probably one of the worst stadiums I have ever been to.

    2. I don’t think we’re going to get another stadium. Our stadium deal really screwed us and people are still sour over it.

  4. I expect the groundwork to soon be laid to expand/renovate LOS in time for a potential 2032 Super Bowl..the 20th anniversary of the Super Bowl here. Get ready…my off-the-cuff estimate..$650million….
