Terms of the acquisition, announced Wednesday, were not disclosed.
New Lisbon Holdings, based in Henry County, is parent of New Lisbon Telephone Co. Inc,. New Lisbon Broadband and Communications and Pennsylvania Telephone Co.
Taylored Systems, 14701 Cumberland Road, will continue to operate under the same name and from the same location as part of the New Lisbon Holdings family of companies. All 35 or so employees at Taylored Systems are expected to remain with the business.
Taylor is expected to stay on for several months as a consultant to ease the transition. Amy Hart-Ramey, vice president of finance for Taylored Systems since 1998, has been named president of the company.
The companies said the acquisition is expected to result in new products and services offerings for customers of both Taylored Systems and New Lisbon Broadband and Communications.
Taylor Systems creates customized technology solutions based on specific needs of its clients, including cloud services, security systems, business phone systems, structured cabling, networking and managed IT services.
“When [CEO] John Greene with New Lisbon Holdings offered to purchase Taylored Systems, keep it in the same location, and keep our current management and staff, I knew it was the right opportunity for all,” Taylor said in a written statement. “With the synergies between the two companies, I know the company is in good hands to continue the nearly 40 years of supporting and growing our fantastic customer base.”
