  1. OMG, this is wonderful news!! I commend those nurses for making this step. Stay Strong in your beliefs.

    Why does Eskenazi non nurses have a union But nurses can not be included?

  2. Didn’t they try this about 5 years ago and didn’t get much traction and IU health fought them tooth and nail on it and fired some people that were trying to organize the union?

  3. Racing to create a union to solve a market driven problem will fail.

    Free market will resolve this. Compensation is simple and it’s clear the $9B in case IU Health has been sitting on was not used on personnel or driving value in patient care.

  4. Its going to trickle down to Allied Health Professionals as well at IU Health. All IU Health needs to do is pay the nurses and employees at 15% premium to work at the AHC and Riley compared to the Rural and Suburb Hospitals in the system. You would see an influx of nurses and staff.
