Is this in the “Opinion” section, or news? Please learn how to write honest commentary.
It’s hard to tell with this “newspaper” anymore. They don’t even try to hide their bias.
Not one article on ex-Twitter execs admitting to Congress yesterday the conspired with federal law enforcement to commit felonies in violating first amendment speech rights of Americans. Probably not important. Move On.
Care to say where they said that? Even Taibbi, who’s been selectively publishing what makes Biden look bad while ignoring what makes Trump look bad, said there wasn’t government involvement.
Sure, Twitter probably screwed up in how they handled this story. After how they and everyone got played by the Russians in 2016, I’m not surprised.
There’s no need to hack voting machines when you can just hack the voters.

Also, “As the hearing was still in session, Rolling Stone reported that Trump’s demand to take down Teigen’s tweet was “hardly an isolated incident.” According to former Trump officials and Twitter staffers, prominent Republicans and the ex-president routinely asked the company to remove posts—the same behavior they’re now insisting shows Democrats and Twitter conspired to silence conservatives and restrict their free speech.
For some reason, none of this has been revealed in the many editions of Musk’s “Twitter Files,” which have almost entirely concentrated on communications sent by Democrats and government agencies to Twitter.”
DonALD…Twitter employees (who ultimately made decisions about the appropriateness of content on their platform) did not violate anyone’s First Amendment rights to free speech.
That is because the First Amendment does not require private individuals or entities to extend “freedom of speech” to anyone. The amendment says the government “shall make no law…abridging the freedom of speech.”
If you are going to use the Constitution and its amendments to make a case, you first need to have the knowledge of what the Constitution and the amendments actually say. In this case, you failed.
