I keep wondering when the five Republicans on the Indiana Supreme Court will decide they’ve had enough of Todd Rokita and his grandstanding. It feels to me like he wouldn’t escape by a 3-2 vote if there’s a second time he’s brought up for discipline, since his response to the first time he was up for discipline was a request for the court to go do something anatomically impossible…
Seems he is vying with Ken Paxton for worst a$$hat AG in the country. “……in which he attacked the news media, medical field and “cancel culture.”” – because, of course – from a leader in the party of “personal responsibility” that has spent decades decrying a “culture of victimhood”. What an unserious stain on our state.
What an embarrassment.
He’s a hack
The most shocking aspect of this is it’s not shocking at all. This is what we get when we vote for a clown parading as a victim.
Poor, poor pitiful Todd.
To all those upset by AG Rokita’s behaviors, please understand Jim Banks (running for US Senate) and Mike Braun (running for governor) are exactly the same as Rokita, and supported by the same extreme groups with extreme agendas. When you are voting in the Republican primary in a few months, please understand a vote for Banks will be a vote for six more years of Sen. Braun and a vote for Braun will be a vote for expansion of the extremism from the AGs office to the Governor’s office. The citizens of Indiana deserve better representation then offered by these three clowns. Pure evil.
+1
Unfortunately, I often see disciplined attorneys disregard the terms of their discipline. Read this IN disciplinary case about what attorneys in a prominent law firm were disciplined for and then consider the TV ads the firm is currently running. Do you really see that much of a difference? https://law.justia.com/cases/indiana/supreme-court/2003/08080302-per.html#:~:text=The%20Indiana%20Supreme%20Court%20Disciplinary%20Commission%20charged%20the,2000%20for%20their%20law%20firm%2C%20Keller%20%26%20Keller.
If I recall correctly, the Court could suspend his law license and that would make him ineligible to hold the AG office.
We can only hope that his antics and provocations honk them off enough to act.
