    1. Even though Delta 8 THC is found naturally in hemp, it can be synthesized from CBD fairly easily. It’s not a stretch to say that people will start making their own Delta 8 from CBD if Liz Brown’s legislation passes, which could lead to the consumption of organic solvents that are actually dangerous.

  1. The inbred paranoia of the GOP controlled Legislature is hitting new highs! Pun intended. One immature and undisciplined college student blames his lack of control on Delta 8 Gummies, and all fear at Liz Brown’s committee breaks lose! She and others sat on 13 marijuana legalization bills in committees, with hardly any real hearings, and has the time and energy to insert new language to restrict CBD!?! Really Liz? The ISP and Prosecutors are probably only against Delta 8 because they can’t tell one bud from the other. Flimsy excuse. What a waste of time and energy this bill 209 is.! The GOP had better start catching on to what the public wants, or new folks will be elected to their seats!

  2. “Bill author Sen. Mike Young, R-Indianapolis, said he supported the provision being added to his bill because it came at the urging of the Indiana State Police and the Indiana Prosecuting Attorneys Council over concerns about the product’s safety”

Funny how Republicans never listen to the police or prosecuting attorneys when it comes to gun legislation and product safety…..

  3. Liz Brown is using a made-up excuse from a man trying to get out of a rape charge to validate her reasoning to ban Delta-8. What a joke.

Politicians should be focusing on more important issues.
