The firm on Tuesday announced the addition of Jayson Manship, Alicia Thomas and Ty Gerig as partners, coinciding with a refreshed brand identity that includes a new logo.
The new partners join Sease Gerig President and Partner Lou Gerig, who previously purchased shares in the firm from Gene Sease and David Sease, the latter of whom will continue to assist clients.
Gene Sease, a prominent civic, corporate and philanthropic leader in Indianapolis, died May 30 at age 92. He served as chairman of Sease Gerig from 1988 to 2022.
“I am forever indebted to Dr. Sease and David for our partnership that has spanned nearly 40 years,” Lou Gerig said in a news release. “We have been fortunate to have a behind-the-scenes view of some of the most transformational projects and key leaders across the Indiana landscape over the years, and I look forward to many more with our new partners.”
Manship is an entrepreneur who previously launched Indianapolis tech firm inSourceCode and is the co-founder of Nameless Catering and Moonshot Games in Noblesville. He is also a partner in Fishers-based tech company Spokenote.
Sease Gerig has moved its offices from 101 W. Ohio St. in Indianapolis and into Spokenote’s headquarters at 8935 Technology Drive in Fishers.
Alicia Thomas and Ty Gerig have been with Sease Gerig since 2014, most recently serving as vice president and senior vice president, respectively.
The firm said the new logo created through its rebranding effort symbolizes a “seat-at-the-table approach,” emphasizing the need to forge “essential connections between clients and their key stakeholders.”
Sease Gerig was founded in 1987 when Gerig, Gene Sease and David Sease acquired the public relations firm Howard S. Wilcox Inc.
