  1. Collect $1Trillion from the taxpayers, parcel out one-tenth for roads and bridges. One-tenth miscellaneous projects. That sounds like a Washington dream package. Does the other eight-tenths stay in the Washington swamp?

  2. To bad Republicans would not support increased funding for the IRS. After years of the IRS being starved and pruned by Republicans, Dems had $80 million of additional funding in the Infrastructure bill. The idea was that without changing any laws, $500 Billion or more in additional taxes would be collected.

Republicans have taken the official position that they are pro-tax cheaters. At the same time leaving everyone wondering how we are supposed to pay for all of this.

  3. We have gotten to the point where we applaud our politicians just for doing their expected job. They deserve nothing special from us for doing the ordinary.
