The state also reported 67 new deaths due to the coronavirus. Reported deaths due to COVID-19 have exceeded single digits in 117 of the past 118 days.
The department said 11,129 new individuals were tested Thursday.
Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 fell from 1,446 on Thursday to 1,399 on Friday, the lowest number since Oct. 18. The high mark was 3,460, set on Nov. 30.
The state said more than 205,000 Hoosiers had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as Saturday at 5 a.m. More than 681,000 had received the first dose of a vaccination.
