The department reported 12 new deaths from COVID-19, the highest number in four days. The state’s cumulative death tally rose to 13,149.
Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 increased from 751 on Sunday to 797 on Monday. They have fallen from 1,019 on May 4. The all-time high mark was 3,460, set on Nov. 30.
The health department reported the testing of 2,610 new individuals.
The state said 2.44 million Hoosiers have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. More than 2.6 million had received the first dose of a two-dose vaccination.
