  1. The fact that Puerto Rico is rarely mentioned publicly when talking about matters involving the country is evidenced here. So many ignorant Americans have no clue that it is part of the US and assume it is a separate country. It would really benefit the territory if we could talk about it more when talking about national news or domestic events.

  2. I can understand an ignorant person questioning a Puerto Rican ID, but after showing a US passport, there should have been no more questions.

    The scary thing here was being asked for a visa. I am sure the guy was sick and not feeling well, so I can see how he just walked away from such ignorance and racism.
