  1. The transfer portal and NIL is getting out of control and I don’t think anyone, including the NCAA understands how it works, what is legal, and what is not. The NCAA has to get this under control. That was their main role, control and enforcement. College athletics is like the wild west right now. At this point, the major conferences are getting so large, they should just leave the NCAA and host their own championships. So what if there are multiple national champions in the same sports? That’s what we had 100 years ago. Just imagine if the Power 5 conferences sent their top 8 teams to a post season tournament. They could make billions in TV revenue. Same with basketball. The Power 6 each sent 6 teams…
