I don’t feel like we watched the same speech. Sure, at the beginning when he mostly stuck to his prepared comments, he remained calm and talked about unity. As the lengthy speech went on, he veered further and further away from his prepared comments back into his usual deranged litany of grievances, lies, demagoguery of marginalized people, and a series of just plain weird, rambling stories. All he had to do was resist old Trump for the length of one speech to convince people he was changed for the better, and he couldn’t even pull that off. He will totally be back to his old self by week’s end. Same old Trump, still unfit to lead.
Compared to any speech Joe Bribem could string together… Trump did a great job…
The fact that the Democrats and media have been lying to the American public for 4 years straight on his mental fitness, I don’t think a single one of them is fit to lead. They simply can not be trusted. That’s in addition to the Clinton campaign’s manufacturing of the Steele dossier and openly lying about the Hunter Biden laptop right before the 2020 election.
Even with the secret service, they have been lying to the American people. Too hot and too sloped of a roof? Didn’t deny protection? Jill Biden’s visit nearby didn’t take away any resources from Trump?
As I predicted, Trump’s fully back to his old, divisive, and weirdly rambling self by the weekend. He can’t resist his worst impulses and seems to struggle a lot with his grip on reality, and that’s exactly why he’s unfit to lead.
