They said it also has a network of job training centers, colleges and universities prepared to educate new advanced manufacturing workers. Those helped attract the nationally-competitive deal”

    Cutting education spending has consequences.

    1. Yes, this is kind of a slap at Purdue as well as the state. This is the exact sort of thing that the LEAP district was designed to attract and win.

    2. Mitch Daniels spent a lot of energy moving Purdue to a national university and “brand” …. at the cost of it being a competitive advantage for the state of Indiana.

  2. Rather than pursuing energy sucking Data Centers, Indiana should have been pursuing this type of facility for near Grisson AFB. Compare the number of jobs in this article vs. what we get at a Data Center. Not even close.
